Heather has lived in various places across the US
with several years in Colorado Springs and Panama
early in her life. After September 11th, she
packed a moving van, left her job in Virginia, and
returned to the familiarity and slower pace of
Colorado Springs.
I moved to Colorado having spent my entire life on the east coast. Taking advantage of an opportunity with my employer, and driven by my passion for the outdoors, I eagerly ventured west.
Heather and I met shortly after my arrival in Colorado
Springs, and married in the spring of 2006. The joining
of our lives naturally included the joining of our creative
interests.
I have always had a love of the graphic and musical
arts, but my interest in photography was inspired by
the dramatic natural landscapes I now call home.
Whether it's climbing one of Colorado's 14ers, or
hiking and camping in one of the many National Parks or
Wilderness areas, my adventures begin with my camera
and tripod strapped to my pack.
Heather's interests include the literary outlets of
poetry and children's stories, as well as home
decorating and gardening.
Together, Heather and I have traveled throughout the inter-mountain west over the last several years with a focus on landscape photography and outdoor recreation. We expanded our interests to include abstract photography with the realization that our artistic tastes lean toward the clean and modern aesthetic. Our goal is to capture, in strikingly unique compositions, some of the hidden details around downtown Colorado Springs where we live. |
